I wrote an article on where to watch football in Bucharest and found places that also showcase rugby games, so guess what… A new article is born on a topic that I know little about but hope will help everyone.

Pro-tip: If it’s an Irish or British pub, it should showcase the rugby games, also reservations help, as some bars can be full.

Boulevard Pub – Old Town

If you are looking for a location that serves pub food and Guinness, well this is the place to go! So if there is an international rugby game it will most likely be televised here.

Mojo Sport Bar – Old Town

Football, Rugby, American Football, cricket, boxing, F1, darts, you name it Mojo has it!

Half-time – Old Town

Another iconic sports bar in the city that is mostly known for its football, but good news: they also love rugby.

Extra time – Old Town

Good news is that they have mici which go well with any sports event and of course Ursus beer the king of beer in Romania (I love craft beer tbh but on a hot day, ursus is light and crisp).

Dubliner – Not close to Old Town

To be honest, this is my favorite Sports bar in the city, but if you want to find a table on important sports events you must make a reservation. This is where a lot of the expat community hangs out as it is one of the oldest Irish pubs in the city. Also it takes dedication to open early for an important rugby game:

Ryan’s pub – Amzei Square close to the Romanian Athenaeum

They never really post the fact that they showcase rugby games, I just know they have the games on during international competitions, and last time I went there, they had the rugby game on. Pro tip phone up before hand to make sure.
