One of our most popular articles on the website is where to watch the Euro 2024 game after the Euro, so here is Dracula to help out with some nice locations where you can watch the football game. You just need a big TV and some mates to watch soccer (don’t use this word) or football in Bucharest.

Pro tip: if you want to book a table, phone the establishment or use ialoc

Boulevard Pub – Old Town

Easy to find location in Old Town to grab a beer with the lads and watch the game. Indoor and outdoor seating has a bit of that charm of being in the center of the city and can get quite crowded, but the atmosphere is what it needs to be for any football or rugby game.

Half-time – Old Town

Formula 1, football, rugby, and other sports are waiting for you in the heart of Bucharest. I never got to go here because it is always full, but they must be doing something right. Packed on match nights, the atmosphere is supposed to be the best. Call in advance and get to experience your game the way it was intended with a cold beer.

Mojo Sports Bar

The place to be if you love sports! You can watch football, rugby, cricket, american football, darts, boxing, F1… You show up and sports will fill your heart with happiness! Fan filled, electric atmosphere, chants echoing from foreigners and Romanians alike!

Terasa La Mihai – Mici and football (One metro stop from Old Town)

It is one of those locations outside of old town that offers a unique viewing experience, mostly locals come here and they come here for our famous skinless sausage: the mici! One of my favorite locations to see football games.

Beer Station – Plenty of craft beer for the most important football games

Besides the plenty beer choices they usually show the most important football games. International and local brews await you! Not very crowded normally, but if it’s an important game, it might get lively crowds.

Any Irish or British Pub in Bucharest

My favorite location to go for football games is Dubliner, which is not in Old Town. Most British and Irish pubs will host football games and rugby. Again, call them and book a table, as the expat community usually gathers at these spots, especially out of Old Town. Classic pub food, cold British or Irish drinks and big screen TV’s.

Old Town

Just walking around Old Town, you will see places that are showing football games, certain restaurants with TV’s might even allow you to watch your game if you are a large enough group (when there are multiple games on the same day). So if you love football, you should be able to watch your games easily in Old Town.
