Genuinely, one of my neighbors is renovating and using a drill, so this sound pack is up my alley. This audio experience on YouTube is a genuine example of how Bucharest sounds, even though it is comedic and exaggerated, it hits close to home for many Romanians.
The dialogue is exaggerated, but it sounds authentic, and although in real life you will not hear everything at once, it is realistic that you have heard fragments of it in the past. Just have a look at the trailer, which has English captions so you can follow what they are saying:
Part one is called Sunday Morning Drill—and it explores the lives of workers on a construction site, ranging from spitting on the ground, to having a beer on the job to yelling at each other to swearing and making fun of each other. Link: Youtube (it is age restricted)
If you love social sciences, it is a really cool artistic interpretation of sounds that are familiar to people in the city of Bucharest.
