Countries have their own sports heritage, English have football, Americans have multiple sports, and Romanians with the most famous country on planet Earth! Have the best sport ever: Oina!!!

What is Oină? Does Romania have it’s own national sport?
Of course I am exaggerating on it’s popularity, but it is a very old sport that was played in Romania and the Republic of Moldova. This sport is very similar to baseball, and why use words, when someone passionate about this sport can talk about it:

Brief hisotry:
Oina, considered Romania’s national sport, likely originated in Moldova and was formalized as a sport at the end of the 19th century, thanks to initiatives by Spiru Haret and several gymnastics teachers. Although initially popular in Romanian schools, it began to decline in the 1920s and 1930s, overshadowed by more attractive sports like football and boxing. Efforts to promote it, including school championships and public demonstrations, failed to sustain widespread interest. After World War II, the communist authorities attempted to revive oina, but with limited success. The first international oina match took place only in 2010, marking a symbolic milestone in the history of this sport. Information taken from the article below:
