Palatul Culturii Iasi
A building that has changed with history, initially a royal palace, is nowadays the Palace of Culture. If you want to find out more about Romanian history, this is the place to go, and you will notice that many wedding photographs are taken around and inside this wonderful building. Why does it look like a Disneyland photo? Combination of architectural styles: neo-baroque, neo-gothic, and romantic.
It is really easy to get to as it is in the center of the city of Iasi.
Corvin’s Castle
Built in the 15th century by Iancu of Hunedoara, it took multiple periods to construct this building, and it also underwent some transformations in the 17th century, but if you are looking for something exquisite designed in the Gothic style of architecture for some Instagram photos, this is the place to go!
Not the easiest castle to get to, but from Timisoara you can take the train and then go for a long walk to get to the castle.
Mogosoaia Palace
Made by Constantin Brancoveanu in the Brancovenesc style of architecture in 1702 it was a palace designed for his travels from Bucharest to the Old Capital, Targoviste. He traveled with so much money and staff that he needed a place to store his wealth when traveling. Brancoveanu was one of Europe’s richest individuals at the moment in time.

Cotroceni Palace
This is a museum, and most importantly, it is also the place where the president of Romania does his work. You can visit by booking a day in advance, and you will get an architectural treat to enjoy. This place has witnessed revolutions, architectural experiments, new dynasties, an earthquake, and some of the most influential people in the history of Romania. You can take the Metro in Bucharest and easily arrive at this masterpiece.
