Growing up, I would dress up very snugly and go caroling to family, friends, and relatives. I would get sweets, and most importantly, I would receive some money. I know money isn’t what holidays are all about, but I needed cash to buy things, and as I wasn’t in the workforce, this was my best source of income.
The carol that everyone knows and most carolers sing
I heard this carol so many times… I don’t want to hear it so my lovely readers… appreciate my sacrifice!
Tannenbaum / O Christmas tree / O Brad Frumos
Everyone knows this song in one way or another. Here is the Romanian version.
A Romanian Classic Carol
Paula Seling was a very popular Romanian artist with a beautiful voice. She is not very popular right now, but she sang this classic Christmas carol very well and deserves to receive treats for Christmas, as is the tradition in Romania.
The song that warms my heart
This song is sung by a kids charity reminding us that Christmas is a time of giving and helping others.
The pro
Everything about this song is done well, from the voice, symbolism, vocabulary, nature, religion and even the rhythm.
