According to Chat GPT: A “hipster” is a person, typically in their twenties or thirties, who embraces an alternative or countercultural lifestyle characterized by distinctive fashion, interests, and a rejection of mainstream trends.

Dracula is the first hipster, and I think I know better than GPT!

Artichoke Social House – Easy-going cafe

The cool design is bordered by big columns and has a cozy feel where you can enjoy a beautiful cup of coffee. It is not located in Old Town, but it is close enough and really close to the National Art Museum.

Zona libera butic – An upgraded Beer Garden

Located in the oldest park in Bucharest it gives out a bohemian vibe, you just want to go there and discuss literature.

J’ai Bistrot – Brunch garden by day, pub by night

When I don’t want to hear traffic and just want to relax somewhere that doesn’t feel like Bucharest, this is the place where I can retreat. They have good looking food and a cool laid-back atmosphere. They organize different events and sometimes have cool concerts. A really cool place to chill when the weather is nice outside.

RITZY Sensory Garden – Cocktail Bar

This place is simply nice: good location, lovely terrace, really funky interior design and fabulous cocktails. If you want to avoid the touristy spots this is a hidden gem that you can fully enjoy!

Expirat – Club/Concert Venue in an Old Factory

Located in a former factory more than 130 years old it is a unique place to go and party. Dracula has been to a disability-friendly event and had a lot of fun. You get good music, cool location, interesting events and the opportunity to party! What more can you ask for?
