Dracula is still searching for other amazing mici places, so the lord of the dark himself will make sure you will receive any required updates. Finding the best mici in Bucharest is tough work!
What are mici?
Grilled skinless sausages, with spices, garlic and bicarbonate. Curious about their story? Access the article below:
Food Stories of Romania – Mici / Mititei
Not good for the heart but good for the soul, here is a magic list for the best mici in Bucharest:
City Grill – If you ask a tour guide
Most tour guides recommend this place because it is located in the center of town, the quality is good, and there are plenty of places to sit. It is more of a fancy style of mici but if you are looking for the authentic one, you need to delve deeper. Also, prices are more geared towards tourists and this is not the magic of mici, they need to be cheap.

La Mahala – if you are in Old Town on a budget
Honestly Dracula always ends up in this place, because it is close, decently priced mici, not on the main street and has an authentic Romanian vibe (kitch objects that give it that oldschool Romanian vibe).

Obor Market (Terasa Obor) – Best mici in Bucharest! – if you ask The BBC and Reddit and Dracula himself!
BBC (yes, the British channel) filmed in Terasa Obor, people on the site Reddit Bucharest said this is amazing for mici. They have cheap good mici, cheap beer and authentic Romanian music. They don’t serve the mici with fries as it is blasphemy.

La Petre by Cocosatu – If you ask Reddit
This one fired up quite a few people on Reddit, it is not accessible but Dracula is definitely heading there. It is said that it is better than the ones in Obor and such words spoken by so many people need to be listened to!

Caru’ Cu Bere – If you ask YouTube
I wrote an article about food and stumbled across this video. Yep, Caru cu bere is an amazing option, historical option, perfect for a traveling tourist. Still not cheap but an option for tourists coming over.

Parfum de Gratar – a new discovery (thanks to Muntele on facebook)
It is difficult to find new amazing places for mici especially after so many… But finally, a new place to add on the list! Juicy, tasty and makes me happy (note they make them more on the medium side)
