My colleague at BTrip besides our work connection, is really good at promoting Romanian culture for the crowd abroad. So I wanted to share some of the cool stuff he has been posting on Instagram.

Meaning behind some Romanian names

Romanian names can originate from other languages, can strictly be known from saints, or can have a really cool origin story:

Romanian music culture

Passion is best expressed through music and dance; this is why we have so many weddings and so many music festivals. Music can change in time, but the willingness to party stays the same.

What museum should you visit?

Well, Lorin discovered some interesting things at the National Museum of History.

Also if you plan on visiting Bucharest, there are some cool details you can spot

You go to Paris for the complexity but you come to Bucharest for the stories.

Discovery

Most people study international artists, but national ones can also be interesting because their experience might be from a different geographical region, but some experiences are very similar to all people.

Showcasing the past

It is fascinating to see how the past looked, but also how in a sense it still lingers in the present.

Looks like Communism is not about the simple life

Imagine that you complain that the aristocracy holds all the wealth just so you take it for yourself and live in their houses… This is what the communist elite did.
