The overall answer is no, but there are a lot of similarities, especially in certain regions.
Religion
If you look towards the east of Europe the main religion is Eastern Orthodox Church. 82% or Romanians are Romanian Orthodox. The Orthodox Churches are quite independent, with each country having its own religious leader, and they meet up sometimes to just agree on how things are going.
Language
Approximately 20% of the Romanian vocabulary has Slavic origins, including words like “glas” (voice) and “prieten” (friend). However, many Slavic-derived words are considered archaic, with only an estimated 10% comprising the modern Romanian lexicon.
Food
Pelmeni (or colutansi), Beetroot Borsch (or bors de sfecla rosie) and Belarussian Drainiki ( or tocini) are recipes that you can find in the north of Romania.
And… Coliva, our funeral cake!
Cyrillic Alphabet
Romania switched from the Cyrillic alphabet to the Latin one in 1859. Wiki for more information.
Part of the Russian sphere of influence
During the 1800’s, Russia was the big kid on the block and even made sure to bring communism to Romania. Romania was part of the Iron Curtain during the Cold War, but we still kept our national identity with communist characteristics. Look at this map, with slavs all around us:
