Reviews on Booking are reliable, but always check if prices are too good to be true; they might be too good to be true. The only situations I would worry about are during festivals like Untold, Electric Castle, Beach Please moments when you are really vulnerable and desperate for finding accommodation.

Airbnb is available in Romania. A lot of people use Airbnb for the need for apartments and more space.

What do Romanians use to book their accommodation?

A lot of Romanians use https://travelminit.ro/ for their holiday vouchers, and it is one of the most commonly used. Important to mention is that it is a Romanian business and therefore supports the Romanian economy.

Pro tip: You can always phone up the accommodation and make a booking through them. I always check online for the prices, and when phoning up, I might negotiate, or at least I know the accommodation gets the full amount of money.
