Some of these places are harder to visit and require some urban exploration, but this is why Dracula is here to help. Again, Lorin, thank you for the great work!

Buftea Studio – I tried to visit, and it depends on the season, sometimes you can visit, sometimes you need a reservation, it wasn’t clear what I had to do when I went there.

Iulia Hasdeu Castle – Haven’t been there but nearby there is an old prison Doftana Prison which requires a good renovation

Comana and Neajnov Delta – Relaxing day trip, avoiding the hustle and bustle of the city and enjoy some wetlands with plenty of birds to observe.

Targoviste – The Old capital and Vlad’s prefered place to rule from when he was ruler.

Fort 13 Jilava – part of the old city fortification, today is connected to the current prison and one of the places that is very difficult to visit.

Ploiesti Oil Museum – Romania is one of the oldest oil-producing nations, so it could be interesting, but I do not know.

Military unite where the dictator was executed – Close to Targoviste train station, it’s easy to have a look in the immediate proximity.

Mogosoaia Palace – Not a lot of foreign tourists visit, but there should be more, I love the park around the palace.

Pitesti Prison – Worth a visit especially with a tour guide

Potlogi Palace – Another interesting palace, but it is hard to find an English-speaking guide there, as it is more of a local attraction.
