Not usually on my list of recommended places to go to, but it is close to Timisoara, it is the underrated little brother. Maybe if you are looking for a less crowded destination this winter, this is the option.

Castelul de Lut has been a very interesting destination and really popular amongst influencers, it gets quite crowded, but it is an unique experience.
