What you need to know about Bucharest is that each part of the city has its own personality, and all the good places are not necessarily located in one spot. So as someone that loves winter drinks, here are some of the best locations to warm up your heart and body with some warm drinks.
Mara Mura – Close to the Romanian Atheneum
They started popping up online for the vibes and interior design, but it seems like they also deliver with their sweets. Many people love hot chocolate, and this place delivers one that will bring happiness and joy.

Camera din Față – Close to the Romanian Atheneum
A place known for its unique atmosphere, with old style furniture, reminiscent of the late 1800’s, Little Paris vibes. They are known for their extensive tea list, but also make hot chocolate and different styles of coffee, so it is very versatile.

Bernschutz&Co – Tea Place in Old Town
Cute location in Old Town Buhcarest, a bit of a hidden gem even though it is really central. More of a “get a book and read” type vibe.

Love you Choux – Near the Romanian Atheneum
If you are looking for a really good hot chocolate and some Romanian cozonac, well, do I have good news for you!

Eshte – Coffee Shop and more in Old Town
Cool interior design, good drinks and the place to be in Old Town. It gets really crowded usually, but if it’s the middle of the week and you love interior design. Maybe this will bring happiness and joy to your heart.

Kestar Coffee & Chocolate – Close to Old Town
Imagine a location that roasts their coffee and prepares their own coffee beans… And to really sell it, they make dark chocolate… hot chocolate! What more can you ask?!

Paine si Vin – close to OLD town
Surprise, surprise… a place specialised in wine and bread (well, oven-baked doughs) makes a mean mulled wine, with a bit of brandy and spices. Most places in Romania serve mulled wine, but I haven’t found a really good one unfortunately. Also important to mention, no reservations, and you might have to stand in line.

Erbario – 30 minutes walk from Old Town
My favorite place in town for winter drinks. Pro tip, go to Dealul Mitropoliei and then Carol Park for a long walk, and then have a drink at this place.

Ikai – Cotroceni Neighbourhood
A location close to Arcul de Triumf (not the one in Paris) that has appeared on Instagram as the new up and coming place. My friends that went there were impressed by the flavour also looks really good.

Infinitea – In the Cotroceni historical neighbourhood
A legend in anything having to do with tea and style in Bucharest. Located in the Cotroceni neighborhood, it is a place that will brighten up the cold season and bring you a new adventure in your life.
