We invite you to celebrate 200 years since the birth of the unparalleled Johann Strauss II with a grand anniversary concert on January 11, 2025, at 6:00 PM, on the stage of the Romanian Athenaeum. In an ambiance that recreates the magic of the Vienna New Year’s Concert, the George Enescu Philharmonic Orchestra, conducted by Constantin Grigore, will deliver a memorable performance.

The evening’s program features works of rare beauty: Franz Lehár – Giuditta – Freunde, das Leben; Kálmán – Die Bajadere – Baiadera; Franz Lehár – Das Land des Lächelns – Dein ist mein ganzes Herz, along with musical gems by Johann Strauss II. This extraordinary event will be enriched by the exceptional performances of soprano Veronica Anușca and tenor George Vîrban.
