Bermas Brewery emerged from communism through an employee buyout and successfully remained operational, while 120 other beer factories shut down.. Around 60% of the brewery is employee-owned (current and former). By choosing their products, you’re supporting a local Bucovinean brand. Bermas Brewery produces Suceava, Solca, Bermas, and Călimani beers.

How is it made?

Bermas beer is produced using a traditional brewing method, where the beer ferments on yeast for a minimum of 35-45 days. This classic approach ensures a high-quality product, as the brewery focuses on maintaining traditional brewing standards rather than compromising for cheaper, quicker production methods like plastic beer bottles.

Where can you find it?

Bucharest: Zadar Bar , Hidden The Social Space

Supermarket: Auchan
