Diana Iovanovici Șoșoacă is a far right Romanian politician of Romanian and Macedonian heritage. She blew up on the Romanian scene as an anti-vaxer. Curenlty the party that she helped create has an approximate 5% support. This party managed to get her in the European Parliment, the place where EU decisions are made.
Scandal, a lot of scandal and conspiracies
According to Romanian Insider: Diana Sosoaca “who was holding up an Orthodox icon and kept saying, “In God we trust,” was escorted out of the plenary hall to the applause of the MEPs. She continued to shout in the hallways, saying that European Commission president von der Leyen “killed people” through the Covid-era vaccine mandates. She also chose to wear a dog muzzle, ostensibly to equate them to medical masks worn during the pandemic.”
Romanians knew what to expect
We knew her for quite some time. Just to get a sense of who she is, here are her top hits:
1. When covid was going on she wore a muzzle in Parliment
2. One of the most fascinating quote was that if you take the vaccine you will be sterile for 3 generations (I don’t think math was involved in this argument).
3.Her former husband, also a fascinating human being, is quoted to have said that he thinks her wife isn’t smart, because she is not even getting paid by Russia to say the things she is saying.
4. She tried to intimidate some italian journalists in 2021 and ended up in trouble with the police. She ended up not having to serve time as long as she pays a 500 euro fine.
5. There is a song dedicated to her. Spoiler alert: she shows up at the end of the video(I will post the lyric translation bellow the video).
