Is Museum Night worth it?

Museum Night might not be necessarily worth it in Romania due to:

  • Museums in Romania are quite cheap

Most of them will not cost more than 20 euros (and this is a maximum amount, usually you will find museums around 2-5 euros).

  • You will wait in line for a lifetime

I’ve spent around an hour in Q once, and it wasn’t even a popular museum. Get your tent and get ready for your hair to turn white.

If you can’t picture it, this is you at home after your trip to Romania:

  • Lots of kids, lots of loud people

Let’s be honest, most people visit them just because they’re bored and want an insta shot. They don’t care about the museum, it’s just the poverty mentality that makes us go nuts after those free things.

  • National strike of museum employees

Museum employees are on strike so most museums will not be accessible for museum night.

If you still feel like you can’t live without it…

You will find there each museum that participates, in each city, with more details regarding opening hours and such.
