Bucharest is an unexpected love capital, a place where you can immerse yourself in the Valentine’s Day charm. Or a bit later, on February 24th the Romanian version of Valentine’s Day: Dragobete (will post an article in the future).

Daily Star recommended Bucharest as a romantic destination due to the cheap booze and affordable prices. Dracula finds that insulting… do you need alcohol to be romantic?!? No no no, you need a space for romance to flourish.

Wine bars

Get a charcuterie board and some wine, and Dracula is ready to go down for business.

Romantic walks

If you want to experience the most iconic street in Bucharest with many buildings in the french eclectic style of the 1890 and quite a few 1930’s modernist buildings. Calea Victoriei or the Path of Victory is the road that you should follow:

Spa day

Therme: DailyStar also suggests going to Therme, which is nice but still doesn’t qualify as romantic as it is not a lot of one-on-one time.

Dracula suggests a smaller place where you can get a massage with your partner: Thaico Spa (Google Maps)
