Dracula is very excited about this list as there are some very interesting options.

Grain Trip (opens 7:30 AM, Vegetarian options)

A bakery that opens up early in the morning and offers a wide variety of pastries, Dracula discovered this place because they make delicious sandwiches at 11 o’clock. They make good coffee but what Dracula loves here is the socata (fermented elderflower) and the pastry snacks.

Drip coffee shop (opens 8 AM, some vegan and vegetarian options)

Located around 15 minutes away from Old Town it is very close to Dealul Mitropoliei one of the few hills in Bucharest. The biggest advantage is that it has a very cool local vibe as it is in a part of town where locals roam. The coffee is really good but the range of snacks is a bit more limited, but they do have vegan snacks and the banana bread I tried brought a smile to my face.

The Harp Bakery (opens 8 AM, some vegetarian and vegan options)

Sometimes the safest bet after a headache in the morning is something tried and that is something British. You start off with what you know early in the morning and you get to the exploration after you get to know the city a bit. Also in the heart of town, just a 5 minutes walk from Old Town.

Cereal Crunch Bucuresti (opens up at 9:00 AM and has vegan and vegetarian menu)

Dracula sometimes has issues with the amount of sugar in the blood he consumes from people so, to get more sugar this is the place to go. Very close to Old Town, it offers a wide variety of types of cereals, what more can you ask for?

Gram Bistro ( opens 8:30 week / 10:00 AM weekend, many vegetarian options, some vegan options)

This place is open until midnight and it has more of an afternoon type vibe but the food is on the spot and for brunch, they offer delicious poached eggs. If you are a fan of anything with cheese this place is the place to be.
