Pros:

  • Located in one of the coolest areas of town in terms of architecture, it is the place with the most amount of embassies.
  • A large number of food trucks, ranging from pizza to smoked meats and Asian food.
  • Cool relaxed vibes.
  • Family friendly environment.

Cons:

  • Not close to Old Town.
  • Toilets during the summer feel like greenhouses.

Food Hood – Graffiti, Bar Garden and Live events

Pros:

  • Relaxed atmosphere focused on community events.
  • Really good Korean food truck and other food truck options.
  • Amazing works of graffiti.
  • Really close to Calea Victoriei and hidden away from the masses of people there during the weekend.

Cons:

  • Not close to Old Town.
  • It gets quite hot in the sun so I recommend avoiding the times with intense sunlight.

J’ai Bistrot – The Hidden Garden

Pros:

  • Secluded and full of vegetation, it feels like you are entering a place that no one else knows of.
  • Cool graffiti works show inside.
  • Really nice place for brunch and they also have a lunch menu.
  • It is located close to the art university buildings so it brings a bohemian vibe to the place.

Cons:

  • Not close to Old Town

Pros:

  • Hidden gem even for locals
  • Close to Morii Lake where you can enjoy a nice sunset
  • Dracula’s favorite place to go for artisanal beer
  • Best service Dracula ever received in Bucharest
  • Outside the hustle and bustle of crowded Bucharest

Cons:

  • Requires a bit of orientation skills and time to get here

Zona Libera Butic – That cool place everyone knows of

Pros:

  • In Cismigiu Parc, a historic place close to the Old Center.
  • Trees and vegetation all around you, on a hot hot summer day.
  • The cool place to be, for the coolness of the air and the people that show up here.

  • It is usually crowded.
