Visiting Timisoara? Here is everything you need to know about public transport.

Tickets

• 4 lei for 60 minutes ticket – tram / trolleybus / express bus / metropolitan bus
• 15 lei for 1-day pass – tram / trolleybus / express bus / metropolitan bus

Passes

• 100 lei for 1 line, 30 days – tram / trolleybus / metropolitan bus
• 115 for 1 express bus line, 30 days – express bus
• 130 for general (all lines), 30 days  -tram / trolleybus / express bus / metropolitan bus

The express bus includes the one from the airport(E4).

This is by far my favorite way of buying tickets and it is available in other cities as well. There are some complaints on Google Play, but I didn’t experience any issues so far.
