So… we made the first article and someone came in very excitedly and told us that she loves the article and made some more recommendations. Yes!!! This is what I am talking about!

Spike – Schlager

Spike tends to combine different styles of music, in this case he took a soundtrack from old songs from communist times. The original music itself is interesting because it is a mix of German schlager music, a pinch of soundtracks reminding us of cowboy soundtracks and a very particular communist vibe that I can’t really describe. Spike reinterpreted quite a bit of its elements with hip hop and some voice change but kept its essence.

Delia – Football manele, rock anthem

So have you heard of the football team Otelul Galati? Well, guess what, Delia made an anthem for them. It has a bit of Turkish/manele rhythm, hard rock metal and rock anthem vibes. This made Dracula lose his teeth as he wasn’t expecting this.

Dirty Shirt

First of all, you have subtitles with captions. Rock, hard rock, power ballad, folk, Romanian traditional sounds, it is just fun to listen and enjoy the video.

E-an-na – Metal + Manele

Two groups never really mix, heavy metal crowd and manele music lovers. Well, guess what this song combines? Playful as playful can be but it still messes with my brain.

Margareta Paslaru

The original song was more towards a tango vibe, the remix kept the voice and brought in a bit of ambient house and breakbeat. Describing music was never Dracula’s super power but do enjoy the song.
