How do you think Dracula is such a dashing well groomed vampire? He knows the best barbershops in Bucharest!
Cervus Barbershop
Dracula loves going to this barbershop because the owner is just a really cool dude to talk to. He also has an amazing beard and that brings added value, also you know you can trust you facial hair in his hands. The reason that really sets this place apart is the fact that it has a craft beer place next to it and you can get a hair cut while having a drink. Important to mention that you need to book a reservation as it can get quite crowded. Also it is not in the old town, but you know… to look good you must venture off a bit!

So this place is close to the old center and it has something that few locations still have it. That sense that communism hasn’t gone away. It just feels like one of the old school hair saloons from the age when dictators roamed free in Romania. Reviews are mixed but this is why I recommend this place for the authentic communist experience.

Do you want to feel like you are going to the seaside? Well this is the place! It has a funky laid back atmosphere, where you will be overdressed but so relaxed you will not care for anything else. Can’t go to the beach this place is called the barbershop from the beach.
